Avraham tree

According to divine data ⊂ Avraham ⊃ was 10 years of age when he left Terah ⇒ to Shem’s  “Βēyth” house ( he spent 40 years ) left at 50 years to return back to Terah’s house . |:Avraham defiance of Nimrod – king of Shinar  led him to be thrown into the fiery furnace. He was born seeing his father worshiping idols and the their god was the sun. Avram was born 1948 after creation (1813 BCE). One tradition claim his birth was on the month of Nissan whereas another said it was on Tishrei….anyway my take on this he was born so to start the Jewish nation. His father Terah was 70 years of age when he begot him and I think this is very significant in relations with the sanhedrin – learning from this tells me that his father was a man very high in position and authority. Amathlaah is the name of Avraham’s mother – in Mesopotamia the town where he was born was called Cutha…his birthplace is called Ever-HaNahar “Beyond the River”

Abraham was the tenth generation removed from Noah, being a direct descendant of Shem, (Noah’s son), the father of all the “Semitic” peoples. When Abraham was born, Shem was 390 years Old, and his father Noah was 892 years old. Abraham was 58 years old when Noah died. These are important facts, for, as we shall see later, Abraham spent many years in the house of Noah and Shem, and received instruction from them. Thus he learned all the details about the Flood from the very men who built the Ark and survived the Flood. (Noah knew Methuselah for many hundreds of years, who in turn knew Adam for many hundreds of years, which means that Abraham received reliable information about everything that happened since the very first day of Creation!). His childhood was not easy, from 1-10 years he spent them in a cave with his mum because he was in hiding from Nimrod’s edict – he was looking for him to kill him but one of Terah servant’s child went in the place of him.

When he came back from Shem’s house he was 50 years of age and heard the voice of YHWH calling him out from his kindred so he left the first time down to the land the father had been calling him to and spent twenty years there and then return back to Terah’s house staying there in Haran five more of his years which total up seventy – five years in all. At 75 he got the second call to leave and act on the word of directions. This time his nephew Lot went with him on the journey.

Yovheliyim 12 Tells you that Avram try to converts his father Terah turn his dark heart to the light. Here is what the book said:

And it came to pass in the

sixth week, in the seventh year thereof, that Abram said to Terah his father, saying, “Father!” And he said, “Behold, here am I, my son.” 2. And he said,

“What help and profit have we from those idols which thou dost worship,
And before which thou dost bow thyself? 1

3. For there is no spirit in them, 2
For they are dumb forms, and a misleading of the heart.
Worship them not:

4. Worship the God of heaven,
Who causeth the rain and the dew to descend on the earth, 3
And doeth everything upon the earth,

And hath created everything by His word, 4
And all life is from before His face.

5. Why do ye worship things that have no spirit in them?
For they are the work of (men’s) hands, 5

And on your shoulders do ye bear them, 6
And ye have no help from them,

But they are a great cause of shame to those who make them,
And a misleading of the heart to those who worship them:
Worship them not.”

6. And his father said unto him, “I also know it, my son, but what shall I do with a people who have made me to serve before them? 7. And if I tell them the truth, they will slay me; for their soul cleaveth

to them to worship them and honour them. Keep silent, 1 my son, lest they slay thee.” 8. And these words he spake to his two brothers, and they were angry with him and he kept silent. 9. And in the fortieth jubilee, in the second week, in the seventh year

And they arose in the night and sought to save their gods from the midst of the fire. 14. And Haran hasted to save them, but the fire flamed over him, and he was burnt in the fire, and he died in Ur of the Chaldees before Terah his father, and they buried him in Ur of the Chaldees. 4
